Uganda: MTN in Partnership With Buganda, Catholic Church to Clear Up Masaka Metropolis

MTN Uganda has signed a partnership with the Workplace of the Mayor of Masaka, Pokino of Buddu and the Catholic Church geared in direction of sustaining sanitation and hygiene of the town.

The partnership was launched beneath the theme: “Tuzze Masaka ku ntiko” translated as “Make Masaka nice once more”.

Masaka is likely one of the seven municipalities in Uganda that attained metropolis standing in 2020 following the choice by parliament to approve the creation of 15 new cities throughout the nation.

By this partnership, MTN will help the town with requisite provisions akin to wheelbarrows, slashers, spades, brooms, gloves, backyard forks to facilitate the clean-up train. As well as, MTN can even present refreshments through the clean-up train and waste bins to create a sustained resolution for littering the town.
