When is the 2020/2021 Tokyo Olympics?

  • Day: July 20 – August 8, 2021
  • Time: Tokyo is 13 hours ahead of ET, meaning that the day’s events will begin at around 8 PM ET the day before in the US. For example, the events scheduled for Wednesday 23 in Tokyo will start at 8 PM ET on Tuesday 22.

Where are the 2021 Olympics?

  • Location: Tokyo, Japan, is the central location of the 2020/2021 Olympics. However, events will be staged at various locations around Japan.

What is on the Olympics today?

The first official day of the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo will see the start of another two sports, and the opening ceremony. The ranking round of the archery begins, as do the heats for the skulls in rowing. However, the majority of Friday at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics will be focused on the opening ceremony.
