Trevor Manuel asks broadcaster JJ Tabane to retract Cope statements

Manuel has penned a letter expressing outrage on the utterances made by Tabane throughout an interview on a YouTube channel The Hustlers Nook.

JOHANNESBURG – Trevor Manuel has requested broadcaster JJ Tabane to apologise and retract a press release he made in regards to the former finance minister being a part of the formation of the Congress of the Folks (Cope).

Manuel has penned a letter expressing outrage on the utterances made by Tabane throughout an interview on a YouTube channel The Hustlers Nook.

Manuel mentioned when Cope was established he was a full and dedicated member of the ANC nationwide govt committee.

He mentioned Tabane’s allegation was “duplicitous and impugns his integrity”.

Manuel has requested Tabane to withdraw what he described as false, wrongful, and illegal statements and publicly apologise for the “hurt and illegal conduct brought on”.

Manuel has threatened to take authorized motion if Tabane doesn’t adjust to the calls for.
