Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Shaquil Barrett took to Instagram on Sunday to wish his wife, Jordanna, a happy Mother’s Day just a couple of weeks removed from the tragic death of their youngest child.
Jordanna and Shaquil lost their daughter Arrayah in a drowning accident on April 30. They have three other children who likely give them strength during this tough time.

The linebacker wanted to give his wife a day to remember and did so with a touching message.
“Happy Mother’s Day, beautiful,” Barrett wrote. “We all love you so much and will do our best to make your day amazing and memorable.”
Tom Brady, who played with Barrett in Tampa Bay, commented on Barrett’s post with his own happy Mother’s Day message for Jordanna.

Brady, 45, added a handful of heart emojis to his happy Mother’s Day comment for Jordanna.
He had already commented on a previous IG post by Barrett about his daughter’s death, showing love for the couple in their time of need.
“We love you guys,” Brady commented.
Brady, a father of three, is going to continue supporting Barrett through his grieving process, which won’t be easy.
