New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner was not impressed with a pair of custom-made Jessica Alba cleats gifted to him by show artist Mike Jordan earlier this week despite building rapport with the actress through a priceless interaction.
Gardner, 22, recently sat courtside at a New York Knicks game with new teammate Aaron Rodgers, who made fun of the young CB for not recognizing Alba sitting next to them.

Alba, 42, then took to Twitter to reveal a “saucy” one-liner that Gardner told her friend and he was impressed that she remembered.
Rodgers, 39, was also involved in the back-and-forth, telling Gardner that he’s glad to be helping him meet new people.
The viral exchange was more than enough of a reason for the shoe artist to create the cleats for Gardner, who reacted with an unexpected response.
Sauce Gardner doesn’t want the cleats?
“If I walk in the facility and see these in my locker, me and you gonna have a talk,” Gardner tweeted.
Jordan, the shoe artist, responded by saying that that’s exactly where they were. Even though Gardner didn’t outright state that he didn’t like the cleats, his tweet suggests just that.
Gardner’s interaction with the “Honey” and “Fantastic 4” actress evidently was not enough to make him want to wear the cleats.
He is entering his second NFL season and looks to follow a Defensive Rookie of the Year award with a DPOY trophy.
