Ricky Rubio confirms he’s out for 2022 FIBA EuroBasket

Spanish star guard Ricky Rubio confirmed he is not going to play for Spain within the 2022 FIBA EuroBasket in September.

Rubio underwent surgical procedure in his left knee (ACL) and can miss the rest of the season. The veteran guard will make a full restoration and won’t play within the 2022 FIBA EuroBasket.

“I can already say that I can’t take part within the EuroBasket this summer time. I’ll get entangled in one other means. However, I’ll undoubtedly come again to the nationwide crew,” Ricky Rubio advised La Vanguardia.

That may be a main upset for the nationwide crew of Spain, which is among the many prime favorites to win the event. The star guard will miss 10 to 12 months of motion, subsequently he’ll miss the beginning of the 2022/23 NBA season.
