Racism goal cricketer Rafiq apologises for anti-Semitic messages

LONDON – Azeem Rafiq, a former English cricketer who this week mentioned he had misplaced his profession to racism, admitted on Thursday he had despatched anti-Semitic messages as a youngster.

“I’m extremely offended at myself and apologise to the Jewish group,” the 30-year-old Pakistan-born Rafiq mentioned in an announcement. “I’ve completely no excuses. I’m ashamed of this change.

“I used to be 19 on the time and hope and consider I’m a unique individual immediately.”
