Orange Ventures invests in Tunisia last-mile supply startup Lamma

Tunisia’s last-mile supply startup Lamma has raised an undisclosed funding spherical from Orange Ventures. Hamza Guesmi and Koussi Aymen based the ultra-fast logistics fintech in 2021 providing supply oversight and automation. Lamma as soon as started as a carpooling providers supplier earlier than pivoting in the direction of B2C supply.

This new funding comes after the current launch of a Q-Commerce software working to revolutionize the client expertise in Tunisia by delivering each day orders inside 45 minutes. Lamma CEO Yassir El Ismaili El Idrissi expressed a need to “assist of Orange Ventures at this stage of the event of our undertaking.”

Since its inception, Lamma has been gaining traction and now has over 1000  gadgets and eateries, together with recent produce and grocery, vogue, magnificence merchandise, parapharmacy, electrical equipment, and smartphones. So far Lamma has over 150 retailers enrolled on its community and has a traction of over 1,000 gadgets stock-keeping items (SKUs) and 15,000 customers.

In line with  Gregory of Padirac at Orange Ventures, that is the second funding in Tunisia. Lamma is working to open three extra Darkish Shops by 12 months’s finish protecting 80 % of the larger Tunis inhabitants. Orange Ventures is the Enterprise Capital Fund of Orange Group.
