LeBron James did not have his best night in Denver in the Los Angeles Lakers‘ 108-103 loss to the Nuggets that puts the Colorado franchise to 2-0 in the Western Final.
In a scuffle with Nikola Jokic, the Lakers player lost his balance and ended up crashing into a fan sitting courtside at Ball Arena.
James was so unlucky that in his collision the icy drink the fan was consuming splashed him in the face.
“Thank you,” LeBron said when the fan left him a towel so he could dry off.
In this game, in addition to the loss, James missed a solo dunk, fell one rebound short of a triple-double and extended his poor streak from the three-point line in the last quarter of the playoffs.
LeBron, who is one-for-20 from three-point range in the fourth quarter since Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs, has missed his last 19 three-pointers in the final quarter of the playoffs.
This is the worst streak seen in the NBA Playoffs in the last 25 seasons.
LeBron finished the game with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks in 40 minutes.

LeBron stated after the loss that leaves him 2-0 against Denver that “until you get beat four times you have to have confidence.”
“We have a chance to go home and do well. Until you get beat four times you always have a chance, we have to approach it with this confidence,” the Lakers star said at a press conference.
James acknowledged that the comeback will be “complicated”.
