Kyle Kuzma opened up about his expectations regarding his role with the Washington Wizards next season.

The young forward wants to make the difference for his new team, but, unlike his time with the Lakers, he wants to have a consistent role.

“My biggest thing is I just want to play within a consistent role. If I have that ability, I’ll be able to showcase what I can really do. There were parts of this year—and even anywhere else in my career—when I’m in a consistent space, I’m out there handling the ball, making teammates better, scoring, shooting, defending, rebounding. I think if I’m in that space, I’ll be good,” Kuzma recently said, via Bleacher Report’s Tyler Conway.

In addition, Kuzma wants to be himself and do his best for his new team, as he told a Twitter user on Sunday.

Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope joined the Wizards in exchange for Russell Westbrook, who signed with the Lakers.
