JOHANNESBURG – Joburg Mayor Mpho Phalatse and her mayoral committee members have been formally sworn in at an inauguration ceremony on the Constance Bapela Council Chambers in Braamfontein.

Phalatse on Monday introduced the 10-member multiparty committee after her election as mayor final month.

The mayor has inspired MMCs to set their political variations apart and concentrate on serving Joburg residents.

Gauteng Regional Court docket President Modibedi Djaje officiated the swearing-in ceremony of the Joburg mayor and the ten mayoral committee members who had been introduced a day in the past.
