Bail for man accused of rape – Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation

A 41-year-old man has been released on bail after a court appearance in connection with the rape of a British Airways Airline cabin crew member.

British national Daniel Peter Johnson of Edgehill Heights, St Thomas was granted $10,000 bail after he appeared in the District A Magistrate’s Court before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes today.

The incident is alleged to have occurred on Monday, March 6.

The cabin crew member is also a British national.

Johnson’s passport was confiscated as a condition of his bail, and he is also required to report to a police station twice a week.

He is scheduled to return to court on September 9th.
