With the Milwaukee Bucks exiting the NBA playoffs much earlier than expected, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a very long off-season ahead of him and he’d like to try out at quarterback for the Green Bay Packers to keep him busy.
The Bucks went out in the first round of the playoffs and it’ll be a long time before Giannis Antetokounmpo returns to the court in competitive action, as the FIBA World Cup doesn’t even start until August.
As he enjoys some downtime, the Greek Freak has been playing an NFL Draft game and was delighted to be selected by the Green Bay Packers, also located in Wisconsin.
Over the years, there has been a strong connection between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Green Bay Packers, with Aaron Rodgers even seen at several of Giannis‘ games when he was quarterbacking the historic NFL franchise.
Now that Rodgers has departed, there is an opening at the quarterback spot at Lambeau Field. Although Jordan Love is set to be the new starter, the NBA star has thrown his hat in the ring too.
Giannis Antetokounmpo wants to be Green Bay Packers quarterback
When playing the NFL Draft game, Giannis Antetokounmpo was picked by the Packers and later shared the game on social media.
“I’m taking my talent to the Green Bay Packers,” he stated.
“If you need a quarterback, I’m available for the next couple of months. I got nothing going on.”
